The Marketing Coordinator Diploma program prepares students for an entry level marketing support position related to integrated marketing and communication activities. Marketing knowledge and processes, administration skills, and practical tools will assist them in dealing with marketing situations. Those wanting to progress to a manager level may, given the proper skills, experience personal attributes and additional training.
Admissions Requirements
Grade 12 or equivalent or mature student status and a passing grade on the admissions test.
Objectives
The ability to assist the Marketing Manager with a wide range of marketing activities. Also prepare desktop publishing and develop sales collateral, proposals, brochures, newsletters using Microsoft Publisher, Photoshop Basics and Illustrator Basics.
Exposure to direct mail, outbound calls, mass e-mail, broadcast campaigns, marketing events and trade shows, public relations, and other marketing tools.
